The known interconnections of proteins within signalling networks continues to become more complex and our knowledge expands about the intricacies of these systems. Kinexus created over a hundred Kinections maps to document many of the known connections with protein kinases with their upstream regulators and downstream substrate targets, and these are available on our www.phosphonet.ca and www.kinasenet.ca websites. More recently, we have created the www.kinector.ca website, which focuses on the direct interactions of receptors with their ligands and intracellular signalling proteins, as well as kinases within pathway modules and their target effector proteins.
