Custom Peptide Macroarrays

Synthetic Peptides

Kinexus is pleased to produce custom arrays of robotically spotted peptides on cellulose or nitrocellulose membranes or glass slides as specified by our clients.

For more information on our Protein Macroarray Services please contact our Technical Services representatives toll free at 1-866-KINEXUS or by e-mail at info@kinexus.ca

Peptide arrays are useful tools for a wide range of purposes, including detection of antibodies for viruses and bacteria in human serum samples, monoclonal antibody epitope mapping, elucidation of the specificity of kinases, phosphatases and proteases for their substrates, and identifying specific regions of protein-protein interactions.

Kinexus has a vast collection of over 1400 synthetic peptides in our inventory and the capability to produce custom peptides according to our clients' needs. Our stock peptides can be selected from our https://kinexus-ca.myshopify.com/ website and these peptides are also available as stand-alone products for sale. Clients can choose from our peptides or supply their own for printing on nitrocellulose or glass slide macroarrays. We can also array recombinant proteins that are provided by clients on the same slides.
Note that we also offer custom macroarrays with peptides that are synthesized directly on cellulose membranes by SPOT peptide synthesis with our CPAP Services. These SPOT peptide membranes provide for much higher densities of peptides than typically available from direct printing of purified peptides on nitrocellulose membranes. This has permitted, for example, much more sensitive detection of SARS-CoV-2 protein-specific antibodies in serum samples from people that have been passively infected with the virus or vaccinated.

Our custom peptide or protein macroarrays are ideal when the number of features desired ranges between 40 to 400. For higher density arrays, we can also provide custom microarray printing of peptides on coated glass slides.
